Hello,
Ici, quelques trucs pour diminuer l'évaporation de l'essenc"e de votre Zippo :
Zippo Fuel Evaporation Prevention
The main downside for Zippos, is the fact its the fuel evaporates very quickly during certain seasons of the year. During summer, evaporation is very fast and it could take less than a week for a Zippo's fuel to evaporate completely (even if the Zippo is not used at all!).
However, there are things you can do to minimize the amount of evaporation.
Buying a zip-lock may help stop, or greatly reduce, evaporation. This is especially the case when you are going outdoors, and you cannot store the Zippo in a fresh place.
If you are going to be indoors, then you should place your Zippo somewhere away from the sun. If you have a basement, that is where you should have your Zippo stored. Other good places to keep your Zippo at include inside a closet, under your bed, and in a sealed container.
If you are going to the wilderness, and must have enough fuel, I recommend to bring with you at least two small containers filled with Zippo fuel - remember to be careful when doing this for it may also be very dangerous.
As a note of precaution, never let your zippo anywhere exposed to the sun - this is dangerous.
The most important concept that you will learn from this page is that a Zippo's fuel evaporates rather quickly. I hope that with the tips outlined above you will find your Zippo to be much more useful than before.
